Teen Parenting Education Classes for Spanish Speakers

Program Objective

To improve parent/teenager relationships and family functioning through the exposure of information and the provisions of skill developement.


Class Info

  • One day per week, during evening hours.

This course consists of eight, one and one half (1.5) hour sessions to be taken once per week.
Sessions can be joined at any time and completed in any order.

$30 per person/ $45 per couple (cost covers all eight sessions)

The instructor is a native Spanish speaking and bilingual Spanish/ English professional trained in the fields of peer counseling, family issues, and child development with experience in divorce and separation, facilitating groups, and teaching adults.

The instructor is a court approved Parent Education Seminar Provider.

Training is normally held in Chesterfield; contact us for exact location.

Other locations and times in Central Virginia may be arranged for your convenience.

Parenting Your Teenager

Do you have a teenager between 12 to 18? Is your teenager not making the right decisions? Would you like to have the opportunity to know other parents and share educational strategies, including ways to stay connected with your teen?

This eight-part class is designed for parents or gaurdians to improve parent/teenager relationships and family functioning through the exposure of information and the provisions of skill developement. Designed also for maintaing or regaining custody or to enhance parenting skills.
Please note: Training is conducted entirely in Spanish.

    • Provide and advocate.
  • Understand what my teen is going through
  • Communication between Parents and teen

  • Peer pressure
